Life Lately: Well May was probably my busiest and most fun month yet!! With lots of blogger meet ups, some fantastic food and plenty of travel! In terms of the blog I have two very exciting announcements, one being that Evening Standard named me one of the Top 25 London Lifestyle Influencers to Follow on Instagram and also Vuelio ranked me second among the top London Lifestyle bloggers.
Those that know me will be aware that my blog means the absolute world to me so these kind of accolades are everything!
Restaurants: I revisited two of my favourites which are also sister restaurants. Hakkasan for the Tea and Dim Sum menu and Sake No Hana for the Sakura Cherry Blossom season menu.
I’m always on a mission to bring you the best bottomless brunches, and this month Bala Baya on Union Street got my vote. It’s also great to see more Israeli restaurants on the London scene. 
As usual seafood restaurants have dominated my daily diet and I absolutely loved the new Rick Stein Barnes restaurant, the celebrity chef’s first in London. 
I also enjoy Michelin-starred seafood over lunch with Maggie at Angler and I relived my time in Jersey at Ormer Mayfair.
Events: After the success of last year I was so happy to be asked to host the bloggers’ afternoon tea at Dalloway Terrace once again. 
Reuniting some of my favourite bloggers, we had the absolute best time on that gorgeous patio in Bloomsbury!
Bubbles were flowing too at the Secret Garden dinner at the St Ermin’s hotel with Laurent-Perrier and we enjoyed a delicious dinner using ingredients from the hotel’s rooftop garden with champagne pairings. 
Finally, I also got to visit the RHS Chelsea Flower Show for the first time along with some of my blogger friends. I even got to meet one of my chef idols, Raymond Blanc who was running the hospitality on the day. 
Travel: I hope you caught the last on my Maldives posts, if not check out what I thought of Velaa Private Island, the most luxurious hotel on the islands.

I just got back from my anniversary trip to Milan and Lake Como and I can’t wait to tell you all about it! After touching down in London I spent the night at Heathrow airport before boarding a plane to Bilbao, Spain for a whirlwind press trip with Gin Mare. It meant three flights in three days and was pretty exhausting but it was totally worth it!! Next on the agenda: in just under three weeks time, Mr S and I are heading off to beautiful, romantic Santorini as part of a collaboration with Classic Collection Holidays.
