One evening just before sunset Mr S and set sail aboard Mnemba Island’s dhow, a traditional wooden sailing vessel that was just perfect for gently drifting through the water.
The good ship had been fully stocked with plenty of fresh snacks and nibbles…
And soon it was up sail and we were away!!
They perfect way to take in the view of our paradise island from the comfort of a gorgeous wooden ship.
Is there anything better better than a frosted glass just ripe for pouring?
Gently drifting around that island with a glass of chilled prosecco in hand was one of the most relaxing moments of our holiday and one of the most romantic too…
Soon sun began to set on the lush Zanzibari island…
And an amber glow lit up the turquoise sea.
And the crew dropped us back on the beach right by our banda…
And we put our sandy feet up on our sun loungers…
As the silhouette of Rajab, our butler, crossed the sand with a tray piled with goodies.
A selection of sushi made especially for us by the kitchen.
And our favourite sundown cocktails fresh raspberries and prosecco for me; passion fruit for Mr S.
And as you can imagine, we had huge smiles on faces.
As we enjoyed that perfect moment in paradise.
