My Upcoming Staycations

2021 will be the year of the staycation! With travel bans still on the cards, this is the year to enjoy exploring our own beautiful country. I love a UK staycation and I’m really looking forward to revisiting two of my absolute favourite hotels plus checking out a few that are new to me! Here are my plans for this year:

In May hotels open fully and indoor dining is once again allowed, we’ll be celebrating this by staying in one of my all time favourite hotels, Coworth Park in Ascot. I’ve stayed here a few times before but it will be my first time staying since we had Oscar – though I already know it’s great for children as I’ve stayed with my nephew Charlie before.

A beautiful country house hotel, we’ll be making the most of the gorgeous grounds, the excellent kids club and the multiple dining options including a Michelin-starred restaurant.

In June we’re planning a family trip for my sister’s birthday, staying in a hotel that’s been on my wishlist for a while. BeaverBrook is a country house in the Surrey Hills with the most gorgeous looking interiors, a Sharky and George kids club, several restaurants including a Japanese grill and a beautiful spa.

In July I have a hen do! The first I’ve been to in ages! A refined sounding weekend, it will be taking place at Bailiffscourt Hotel in Sussex with spa times, dinners and a beach front picnic!

Also in July we will be having a family trip to The Wild Rabbit. Billed as a modern British pub with rooms, I love the look of this cosy hotel located in fashionable Kingham. We’ve hired out three cottages that can actually be joined together to create one large cottage. I’m looking forward to eating the amazing looking pub food at the Wild Rabbit and at Daylesford Farm which is owned by the same family. We’re also planning some cute family day trips in the Cotswolds.

In August my friend and I will be off on a girls’ trip to Soho Farmhouse!! I’m super excited as it’s my favourite hotel and we’ve already had to cancel twice due to the pandemic. I can’t wait to show my friend why I love this place to much!
We’ll enjoy our gorgeous cabin, spa treatments and lots and lots of food at the hotel’s multiple restaurants.

In September it’s the wedding from the hen do and the happy couple have hired out a country house for their guests for the weekend! I haven’t been to a wedding in so long and the idea of celebrating my friends’ marriage and being surrounded by so many people just sounds amazing!!

Later in September I’ll also be visiting The Newt in Somerset with the blogger girls, it’s a hotel that’s new to me but somewhere that has been on my wish list for a while. We have some lovely meals planned, spa treatments and a cider tasting!

That’s everything I have coming up. How about you?
